Interesting question Chaotic FC! I guess I will find out :P

Ummm as for updates, canned the V-mount kit and went for FMIC. Ordered a custom made kit from Auto Sport Engineering in Adelaide last week which should arrive here this week! also coming with the kit is a turbosmart dual port sleeper series BOV

I will probably postpone the installation of the kit for two weeks or so until I get a Haltech installed, then it can be properly tuned.

Just been spending the past couple of days moving the battery to the boot. Was very difficult to find the supplies, but a sinch to wire up! Will get some pics up of all the new bits sometime today

Some more pics, also forgot to mention, relocated the amplifier, screwed it onto the back of the rear passenger seat, the section that folds down, looks real neat now as all the wire is hidden

Battery gone! and A/C, compressor was a little tricky to remove!

All ready and waiting for FMIC now. Can anyone tell me if it is safe to run the FMIC upgrade with the stock ECU?

If I go for a drive tonight which is likely I will take some pics of the guages too, they look pretty.

Met up with some friends with FC's last night.

The middle S5 FC has a bridge ported 13bt with GT35/40R turbo, runs so nice, I want a bridgy now! haha, left quite a nice skid across three lanes when I was following him too! awesome!

Well received my FMIC kit, yay! + BOV

Hmmm V-mount would have been nice >>>

This is a hole saw! me BTW

Piping install! this is where it went wrong. The kit I was supplied with was designed to have the pipe connecting to the intake adaptor run between the PS pump and the strut tower... some how... but it does not fit on my car, well it does, but there is no gap at all, even after some savage pipe denting and bending. ANGRY! this is ****, I thought.

Went to the local fabricator and he's gonna TIG up a new pipe for me to run down under where the AC compressor was... the LOGICAL place to run it initially!!!!! gonna cost 250 aussie dollaz. That's with an BOV adaptor welded to suit also.

Problems persisted into the afternoon... Oil filler pipe will have to be modified to go around the intake adaptor piece. More money required... :@

Then we dummy fitted the stock front bumper and the IC sits too high... only about %45 of the lower intercooler section is exposed to air flow. So, going to have new brackets made up which I might do myself, to lower it about 2".

Will get there one day I hope. Going to tow it to the local fabricator and have the pipe section made up on tuesday. Just my like it's a long weekend. Now I have to wait ages to test it out. So crap. O well, will be good when it's done.

Sorry man I'm unsure about this, I believe it will need adjustment after you plug it in. Try downloading the FSM manual, or doing a search for it.

I made the piece surrounding the guages, and it's not cf, it is made from black perspex (plastic). A guy does make them on these forums somewhere I believe.
