Angry Low km RX7s and stockness [rant]

Got a new job, so have been browsing RX7s when I see this second gen, with 85000km. This is my opinion on things, but it fills me with rage when such a low KM car is molested like this. Body kitted (the spoiler doesn't even blend in), speakers sticking out through the paneling, and modded. Maybe it's me but I don't get people who see a car with low KM and think "Man, what a mint condition car! I know, I will put a different colour spoiler and have speakers sticking out the door!" I understand say a 200km car, or your baby that you'd keep for ages, but not such a rare specimen of RX7 (at least what I have seen watch Kijiji for last 3 years). Most cars have 150,000+km on them already.

Honestly, I would say I would put down somewhere near that price if the car was actually mint. Don't people know mods bring down value, no matter what? What would you guys pay for it?

Same thing with a near mint LHD FD, with all the dashboard plastic spray painted red.

PS: Are body kits bolted onto the body, or taped/clipped on? If it's removable without damaging the body, then that changes things. Having holes in the body would suck...

Buy it, I'll buy the wing from you for $100 plus shipping. No, I'm not kidding.

That's an old bodykit. Those look like kaminari sideskirts. It's missing the matching front half bumper.

why do you care what people do to their cars? its theirs. They could paint it pink and put feathers and ****** all over it, but no one NO ONE has the right to say or question what someone wants to do with it.

I think the idea there is to try to convince owners to treat their cars better. So that there are more clean+stock RX-7s out there instead of a zip-tied trashed car.

Also, I feel bad for a car when something stupid [V8 swap/body kit] is done to it.. :/ That's the only reason I'd say anything [and I try to ignore the body kitted ones, since they're still rotary ]

But back to the topic! That car's pretty clean. I personally like that spoiler [aside from how it fails to blend into the quarter panels] NSXy Just repaint the trim and peel off the skirts and you're good to go.
[Oh and they're asking too much.. $6-7K sounds more reasonable]

my only complaint would be the goofy rear wheel offset and the red tape on the molding. but i know people love boring stock cars..

Thats an Eibo spoiler i believe, its supposed to go with a wide arch kit i think. The spoiler is rare - the wide arch kit is rarer!
