ok guys. i bought the rims. i got the xxr 002 in black 16x8, they were a little bigger than i had expected but oh well. now my issue is that i went to a few tire shops and they all tried to up sell me to some $150 tires each and they were saying only like 2 sizes of tires fit on the rims an if i install any tires on them i will get alot of rubbing and wont be able to turn and what not. now i do have 18x9 on there now.. at least i think they are 18x9 with some 215/35/r13 tires and i get no rub or turning issues.. so i guess my question is. what size tires should i get that wont cause any problems. or should i just raise the car a bit since i have tien adjustable coil overs. ??

Get your fenders rolled or do them yourself with a baseball bat.
Then maybe 215/45/16 or 205

Remember, they are only suggesting that because they dont want to be held liable if they rub your car and mess things up. Go in there with confidence and they will put anything you want on it.

-3 degrees made it work out well. It still rubbed.

I'd run a 45-50 series tire if you're trying to go super low. 55 series looks like poo-poo.

185-195 tire up front would work out well.

The guy i got my 16x8 0's from was running a 255 60 out back with a slight pull and a little bit of camber.

Tip: When you PULL your front fenders (and you will need to) heat up up good with a heat gun. Have two of your bestest friends put all their weight on the front lower and rear lower parts of the fender and it makes for a smooth pull. Mine ended up screwed because they ended up being forced out in two spots and didn't even pull at all.

Those look pretty good . I might look into something like those for my base until I can go 5-lug. What are the wheel specs?

they are 16x8 i thought they were 0 offset but when i went to put tires on them (215/40/16) they tire guy said that the offset of the rim was 3.7? is the offset the distance measured from the center of the rim where the whole is to edge of the rim?
thanks for the compliments guys. although i think i might either have to fix my camber in the front (when i got the alignment it showed the camber was off cuz its lowered i gues) or i might have to roll the front fenders. the left tire got some rubbing marks on it. but only when i get a certain smooth dip on the 91/110 ramp. i smelled burning rubber for about 1min. granted i was bolting at about 90 cuz i was late to work. :S

That is not going to look good.. size wise I mean.. The wheel design looks good, its just 17x7 is meant for front wheel drive or all wheel drive cars, especially the offset .

i'd purposely rock a base model FC just to get another choice of wheels in the 4 bolt world.
What size are those?

inless im not reading my offset chart right you said the wheels are 16x8 right ? well if he said 3.7" then you sir have a offset of -19 or round about ,which i truly doubt you have . again i could be wrong . nice setup though

they only offer one size of these.... but i have never seen an FC with 4 lug run these (go figure...) would they look okay or do they "need" to be staggered?

currently rolling on 14 inchers with super skinny tires...
