Listing of ALL FC3S Entry Level Coilovers

OK, questions about entry-level coilovers for the FC come up all the time. A lot of people mainly do not know all the available choices out there. Recently I have been doing a lot of searching and research on the available choices out there, since i plan on picking up a set within the next few months and it is a decent amount of money to drop down, even for "entry-level".

I'm hoping this to be a reference for anyone needing to know this info. I will list all the coilover kits available for the FC3S. i will only list the basic details of each, the standard or MSRP price, and provide a link with more extensive information.
I'll post each coilover in a seperate post for easier referencing.

Please feel free to add to this thread or post any corrections if i have stated something incorrectly.
I would ask that you minimize opinions on the choices unless it is first hand experience or purely fact-based.

this should be archived since we get "drifto suspension" questions every week now.

Memory Fab has nonthing to do with CST. They are only a online shop that sells CST parts. it would like saying RX-7 Store Hypermax II when they are realy HKS Hypermax II

http://www.boyz.co.jp/cst/fr.htm Boyz is CST

you should also list the spring rates and number of ways they can be adjusted

The CST springs are front 8K rear 6K 16way adjustable

you are right about the CST coilovers, thanks for the correction.

as for the spring rates, all that information is available in those links, and i purposely left it out since people should really look at the detailed info on the websites.
also different spring rates may be available.

We're constantly adding reputable products as we test them onto the website. This is always a good place to take a gander in case you missed something. I noticed GP Sports G Master Coils aren't up here. Not any US Support really but it's an option.

And for us cheapskates- the MK1 coilover kit on e-bay.
MSRP $160 shipped.
Not in the same class as the above.
Stiff as hell, but cheap, and they do work.

Maybe another important factor to add, "Support".As in, where does the unit have to sent to be serviced and equally importantly "turn-around" time?I bet that would knock most of these japanese options out of the running. The Racing logic ones aren't rebuildable apparently, you have to buy replacements.Although that might not be a bad thing if you factor in the shipping, it might be an advantage to just get a replacement if it's priced accordingly(and readily available).

i did provide basic support details. you will see i mentioned whether they are US-based, meaning you can service them in the US, or not. i also mentioned if they include replaceable catridges, in which case if you damage the shock you can just buy another catridge and swap.

i really don't know about turn-around time, that is hard to say since it depends on the location and other factors.

I have "Secret Sports" Coilovers in my FC, came in it from Japan, can't find anything at all about the company or the coils :S

They are quite comfortable on the road and slide very well though
