Lip thread
So far this has to be one of my fav lips
http://corksport.com/store/large/a5a...ler_89-91.html
I can't really justify spending 200 + expensive shipping for that, can't exactly tell how lower it is but the stock S5 non turbo lip... the street tore it off . That lips fiberglass I think (I closed the page already) anyways whatever material its made out of will pretty much break easy?
What lips do you guys like for the S5's? I dunno why but i just don't like the way she looks without even the stock lip
Post lips under 200, pics, profit!
/me waits for hypertek
Edit
Heres another decent looking S5 lip https://www.rx7club.com/showpost.php...62&postcount=8 idk the MS lip just makes me wet, this lip I'm confused as to why its 250usd.

here you go, probably the best solution right here

sometimes the best budget solution is to build it yourself

when you get the lip from them you will see why its so much to ship, comes in a huge heavy box, box alone must cost them $25-$30.
shame there was not a easier way to ship them out.

no I understand the shipping costs but I have a feeling the MS lip will be tore apart in a month of driving.
its 200 from CS not inc shipping
but out of all the lips in that thread ya linked, the MS takes the cake for me, guess I'll throw it next on the list
I couldn't view a home depot special on a S5, Renton's is fine, seems all S4's work perfect with the depot special , no idea what it'd look like on a S5, maybe if where it dips back for the rad another separate piece was put.

your car is not lowered, lip shouldnt be a problem. If your worried, than a lip isnt for you. Serious man, you gotta live a lil and cough up the dough if you want to play.
Theres guys here wiht lips 4 fingers off the ground and survive with them on daily driving.. You gotta have confidence and be a more aware driver.
If your really worried, get creative, hit up the junkyard and look around.. I got nutsy and put a mazda 626 lip on my old benz 190e 16v, fit very good after trimming. http://tunerbase.com/temp/benz/becky1.JPG

626 lip? yeah those lips are awesome, easy to trim off the sides if they are too long etc. When i had my benz, on a trip to hollywood i hit some tire debris and it knocked my lip off and dragged it, got to the club and popped it back in = all was good lol

but..................
ghetto lips cost next to nothing.
Wood=free
damaged 240sx lip= 35 dollars
fiberglass resin, matting and bondo= 8 dollars
43 dollars total is why people ghetto fab.
Granted, it looked not the greatest and stayed on the car only while i prepped the front bumper of the body kit.

To each their own....
Dawicka, I appreciate ingenuity and time spent fabricating parts/panels for stuff...I just think it's silly to roll to home depot, buy ******* rain gutters or whatever and bolt it to your front bumper.
Modifying a good looking existing part to fit on your car or to improve it aesthetically is different.
I'd rather just spend the money for something that is available and made right.
