But here is the box, made it so it will fit in the wheelwell to keep it from taking up too much space in the trunk. it's about 28litres, so big enough for most 10/12" sub's.

Obviously the box look like ****, but i will make a coverplate, and get it looking nice and clean.
can you post up the specs after you're finished with this project? I'd love to be able to produce one for myself.

im pretty sure people have done it. there was a thread about it a while ago, i dont really have time to find it cause i got work tomorrow. but if you do it make sure you seal all the little cracks in the tower, or it will most likely sound like crap.

No it isn't. if you mean the size of the build you mean.
But it's an easy solution to hide away all the wires, and make it look clean.

I wish it wasnt so huge but, it was the easiest way to hide everything unfortunately. I'm not the one who put it together.

I have a basic setup. Deck with two speakers in the strut towers and two speakers in boxes inside the wheel well. They are 6x9 and I wired up led's inside at night the led's beat to the music in 3 different colors it's not bright but the speakers get a nice glow to them. I'll post pictures when I get on the computer on my phone right now lol.

i don't have a picture in the car but they are located where the spare tire goes and the carpet covers them up hidden from view. they are 275watts each and have a nice bump. great for me since i don't want a huge box in the trunk that will turn into a projectile in an accident or hard stop lol

the small box with led's inside

with speakers installed compared to standard clock they are not bright u can see how the clock is over exposed meaning the clock is brighter.

and a video. my point and shoot camera was trying to adjust so the sound is part of the camera and the lights are brighter then they look in the video.

Looks good.

For an sq build in an fc (not to crazy about spl in a car this small) I'm thinking of a single 10w6 or 10w7. 10w6 takes 400 true watts rms and the 10w7 takes 750 watt true rms. They can handle more than that but their optimal operating rms (minimum power if you will) is 400/750rms

What would you run? Anyone actually hear either speaker inside of an fc? I listen to various types of music and really dont care about people hearing my music from 3 blocks away anymore. I grew out of that.

Kinda hard to see but its the only pic I have. 2 jl 12w4 in custom sealed box that fits nicely behind the speaker/strut towers. Have a jl500.1 running them. Also had all the factory speakers gutted and put 6.5jl's in the front and rear with a jl 4channel amp. Sounds really good.

Here is my old 7 with my old system. I still have the box and its for sale. If anyone is interested let me know via PM. The box is non ported and fully divided so its actually 2 boxes. The center section is originally set up for a nitrous bottle but it would also be a perfect spot for a meth tank. You can also leave it open like in the pic.

i crammed 5 1/4 in the stock locations under the dash. if you get creative you can fit them!

you can kinda see the drivers side. its just between the steering wheel and the drivers seat. if you look close you can see the green speaker. o yeah, and those hideous pedals are gone too!
