i was lookin at a drift tengoku magazine, and one of the advertisers who sells a bunch of kits, lights etc, had the clear *usdm for us* ftp lenses in there.. I thought it was kinda wierd why they would be advertising these next to other parts like clear corners etc.. but i guess they didnt get those clear ones in japan?

"These are a direct replacement to your stock flash-to-pass lenses. The difference in these Japanese ones use 168Wedge style bulb as light instead of the headlight."
I've got a couple questions about the JDM lenses. In this thread I just learned about differences between JDM running lights/turn signals and USDM. Forgive my spelling it out. JDM had running lights with no turn signal wired in and the JDM FTP lenses served as turn signals? For a while I've wondered why and what the differences were.
Vipers, through a couple degrees of seperation, I bought your old MS scoop. So, in a round about way, thx. It's not on the car yet. For now it's still orange, but over the winter it's either getting painted to match my factory color, or the whole car is going Shade Green.

At least according to Corksports site, they are JDM, or lead you to believe they are.

the JDM cars still used the turn signal, they just aren't lit when we turn the interior lights on. They only flash.

I dont have the Original Bulbs in mine i have some Brighter bulbs in White, not super bright but brighter then Stock.
I was thinkin about adapting some HID's in there but, since i have HID's on the headlights i dont really need any more lightning.
