homemade lip

Made from an 8ft strip of aluminum from Lowes. Costs around $25 to make. I used about 6-7 feet for the lip, the rest of it to make the L-shaped brackets, and some toggle bolts. Easy to make, but be careful; you can't drive over roadkill anymore That's a good thing about the toggle bolts. They hold well, but don't tear up the bumper when the lip rips off.

Still waiting for the company i sent it to to weld it all up for me. But they're doing it for free so can't complain. It's made from my (destroyed by previous owner) finish line front kit and about 20 cable ties and a factory series 4 lip. Its rubberised plastic stuff so definately wont break from driving in driveways and the like

it will all be one piece with no holes in it and be painted satin black when i get it back. It meant my poor finish line bumper wasnt a total waste. Could be done with other bumpers but most people would have to pay through the nose to get it plastic welded up

Lol, I actually found out the Volvo lip fit the FC3S when I was looking for lips for my E30 on a BMW forum. They fit the BMWs too but installed "upside down" if that makes sense. It bolts right up to the FC though, fits perfect and looks great to me. We have another FC Front Lip thread here somewhere but I'll ***** it out again.
