At home paint job

so I'm hoping to paint my 7 sometime in the next few months. I'm looking at doing it 1 of 2 ways and want the opinions of those that have done it before. here is the 2 ways

way #1 http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web..._T|GRP2050____ regular 3 step paint. primer, paint, then clear

or

way #2 http://www.rickwrench.com/index79mas...llarpaint.html good ole rust-oleum enamel

so to those of you that have done it before which way do you recommend and ill be using a spray gun either way i do it

I've used Rustoleum. And for the price, you would never guess that it was a cheap housepaint finish.

I was going to paint my old GTU with their paint. I didn't get the chance to use it though. I bought the paint, finished the prep work, then got screwed.

you get what you pay for...

ive done my own paint jobs on my fc and the more money i spent the better it looked. just goes to show

do something custom, you can buy a few grams or ounces of pearls, chameleon pearls and flakes, etc... for $20 to $100 dollars

i used this stuff recently... not cheap tho!!!

I painted an S10 flat black about 4 years ago. And as long as you take car of it, the paint lasts. The last time I saw the truck, the paint looked exactly the same as it did when I painted it.

option #2 looks like the best bet if you dont want to invest money into an actual paint job.

I got lucky that i know people who work at body shops that let me use there equipment to paint some of my projects when they are closed.

I have the space and equipment. I just needed a quick paintjob for a car show, just needed it to look good for a weekend.

Come to find out, it makes for a tough and good looking job if you take care of it.
