Half bumper questions/comments
I am considering getting the Shineauto half bumper. So, Does anyone have it on an s4, and does anyone have pictures? Will it fit on the s4 bumper with no modafication? Feel free to offer your opinion on the bumper.

Dude I would keep it stock, your FC is clean as hell, looks mad good with the black molding and rims. Basically any bumper you put on will be a downgrade unless it's a legit aero piece.
Yours is already more awesome than any ebay bumper ever, I usually hate lips, they are done so frequently with poor results its almost a reflex to gag when I read about it. Your case is an exception, this thing looks great with that lip - I actually just made your car my background.
Though, I don't think you need the half bumper, if you do get any bumper i agree that the half would be your best bet, at least you'll retain most of the stock sexiness.
IDK, it's obviously up to you, I just think they look so good when the stock body is clean like yours. Regardless, good job with your 7.

Thanks for the compliments GreenBudd. Your buildup thread is actually my inspiration right now. Your engine bay is NICE! I'm about to start my tear down and rebuild next week.
I just don't like the S4 front bumper, it's so damn plain. And, I don't want to go S5 because I like the black trim on my car. I don't want to paint S5 trim either, and I doubt I could find a nice S5 bumper. I'm just too picky.

Well, it sounds like this half bumper would be perfect except it's intended for an S5. I wonder how different the fit would be, the bumper is said to fit the S5 with no cutting of stock bumper, maybe only mild cutting would be needed to make it fit an S4. We should get some measurements or something. I just searched for like 45 mins but couldn't find anything concrete about fixing it on an S4, though I swear I read a thread about it before on here.

Just from looking, I would guess that the only cutting would have to be to the outter (brake duct?) openings. Also, I think it would sit lower than the side skirts, from the profile, which I don't like. And I don't want to have to buy side skirts too..

SO........ did anyone ever actually install this on a S4? You can obviously tell that the brake duct curvature from the molding down isn't even close to the S5 style BUT anything is possible with some modification.

I was planning on doing the shine bumper and making it fit, but then I overheated and now I'm rebuilding. It is now my project car so I will be doing many mods over the next months and still plan on this, but not untill its running. I am now leaning toward full s5 conversion though.
