Yeah my car is a real POS. The drivers side is turned in because its missing the lateral link. I want to get a couple quarts of the primer and sealer that I'll use later on and grind a lot of areas down to bare metal. I just want to get it running first. Thats my only concern right now.

I wish I could actually find time to work on it. Ive been working a lot lately. And when I'm not working, it's raining or even snowing because of how cold it's been.

Well I've gotten a bunch of work done on the car but only a few pictures. Turbo has been installed. I made my little peice of aluminum for the twin scroll. I replaced the secondary injector clips because they were broken. Still have 2 more for the primary. The engine is just about ready to fire up. I suppose I'll make my own vacuum line for the oil injectors and find some hose for the brake booster. I need to fill my cooling system. I got some muriatic acid so I can clean my gas tank and install it. Then I should be able to start it up.




This is going to be fun.



These are the stereo harnesses. I figure I'm just going to rewire the whole system.

I hollowed out the A/C evaporator and installed the A/C system and dash.

I cleaned out my gas tank as much as I could today and mounted it up. put about 10 gallons of gas in it and my gauges are saying it's empty. any thoughts?
It started up twice for a few seconds on starter fluid. And then once for about 10 seconds on gas. Im still haveing trouble with it. I suppose I'll replace my fuel filter and spark plugs.

Well it started up fine today after pluming my turbo and intake up. It wont run on its own yet though. I need to find the O2 sensor wire and get a connector from the junk yard.
I ordered a fuel filter even though I wont even need it now. I need a downpipe gasket, a pipe clamp to seal a hole, and some turn downs since I cut the exhaust back to the subframe.

It's starting to become a car again! I'll try to get some videos. It's pretty loud, 2 exhaust leaks with a straight pipe. lol

I saw the need for something and improvised based on what I had.

Hopefully this will function until I get a real splitter.

will work just fine.

btw, the coolant plug on your rear iron will crack and cause you to leak coolant. ask me how i know..

id use a silicon cap.

Oh I injected that thing with RTV sealant. it's not going anywhere. lol

Is the wire for the O2 sensor a smaller wire with some sort of protective wire around it?

When you said vac lines for your oil injectors, you weren't talking about running oil through vac lines were you....

As far as the O2 wire, mine was mangled so I had to run a new one as well. All I know is that its black. Btw it has nothing to do w/ starting or idling.

Of course not. My vacuum splitter crumbled when I tried to take it off and I wasnt about to pay $60 for a new one. I already replaced my omp lines with the clear teflon stuff.

Where did you run it too? The car will start and rev up fine. It just sort of gives up after a few seconds sometimes, while my foot is on the throttle. Perhaps it just isn't warm enough?

Thanks Alex, me too. I had to deflood it by taking out each spark plug one at a time, and I got continuous solid puffs from each rotor. So I know the engine is strong. And I could hear the turbo spool up which was freakin awesome! lol

I put an insulated spade connector on the end, and put a connector on the o2 sensor wire and hooked them together. Its in that bundle of wires you had pictured earlier in the thread, right along w/ the BAC wire and thermoswitch wire.

Alright I know which one you're talking about. I'll unwrap the harness a bit and and connect the clip I'm about to get from the junk yard using a butt connector and heatshrink. then rewrap the harness like nothing happened. Or I can try to reroute the BAC and other wires out of direct view. Then I need to solder the thermoswitch wire back on. I may try to use a bullet connector.

I got the oxygen sensor wired up but its sooo cold and crappy outside that it didn't want to do anything. I didn't even hear the fuel pump. So hopefully it'll warm up a tad soon.

You crackin' me up G with this talk of how cold it is there. Our high today was 21 and it has been snowing since Saturday. Wednesday's high is supposed to be zero with a low in the negative teens.

Glad you got it running. I have a brand new fuel filter I could toss in if you get the tank. Take yours back for a refund if you want. It's a brand new Fram.

I might not be getting the tank. I kind of figured that that stuff wont even come out when I pressure wash it with hot water, it wont come out at all. And whatever it is, it should be some sort of petrolium product. I already put about 10 gallons of premixed gas in it. lol If I get another job to do soon I'll get it.

It's just cold for Georgia. lol I can handle the cold, for some reason.

Well I found a new problem. Took off the UIM to have a look around because the car simply would not start.

Fabulous.
more disassembly...

This would explain some of the feeling of lack of fuel.
I'll have all of them sent out to WitchHunter Performance before next week.

i keep noticing that on ur oil injector vac lines that at the end its not cap or connected that would be a vac leak right there i believe . it late also so my brain may not be working right.

Yeah you were probably just tired. Those were connected. But they wouldn't keep the engine from running and starting. Just a horrible idle.

I want to sell the wheels that are on the car and get some mustang wheels. If anyone wants them, let me know.

Progress on the car is on hold. I'm waiting for a check from someone so that I can get my injectors cleaned and some other parts.

I'm about to go sand my car down and get it ready for paint. I'm going spray it some sort of teal for now. And try to find a set of mustang wheels and spray them black. Hopefully itll turn out fine.

Well it's premixed, but it isn't very clean.


This is what I got done today. This is the first, dry sand with 60 grit. I'e only finished the fender and part of the door. I also slightly "rolled" the fender.





This door was obviously replaced, meaning there was a wreck at some point, which would explain the half inch gap between the fender and the headlight cover.
I'll get some body filler and primer soon.
