Finally got my Turbo II going again (aka the alarm system from hell!!)
This poor '87 Turbo II sat for years. The old Derringer alarm went bad, and it was the alarm systems from hell. 6 modules, 8 relays, 3 diodes, and about 50-60 wires, some circuits using speaker wire for power and ground, running into both doors and the sunroof. A friend of mine bought it new and he had them add power locks to it, and special modules to roll the windows up and close the sunroof when he armed the alarm. I finally got motivated over the past month, and it took me a good 20-30 hours to get all this crap out. In the end it was just the one relay hidden inside the steering column that was stopping me from getting it started, but I ripped it all out anyway because the windows would randomly go up and down on their own too. Those are those white TWindow modules in the pics.
Here are the before and after shots of the alarm wiring, and a couple of the car. The bra was just on there to cover up the missing marker lights and stuff but that's gone now too.
