FC vs. FD

Personally, i love the fd moreso than the fc.
Bruce's car is pure sex, the satin black fd on green te's is just *****, mad mikes 4 rotor drift car with digital camo.....
I just love fd's. I want one but it would have to be a rolling shell project. I hate stock. Maybe when the fc is done and i have a solid boinger daily driver...... I think it would be cool to have a car with irs multi-link. I've dropped my fc's subframe so many times..... I hate it. GRRRRR.
Fd=sexy awesome production racecar. My jaw gapes open at them when i do see them on the road. Stock or not. "I hear rotary! Where is it!? OH **** IT'S AN FD! HOLY ****! Catch up so i can get a better look!" My friends look at me like i'm high or something.

I can truthfully say I like the FC better than the FD. Sure the FD would blow an FC's doors off stock for stock, but every time I open the garage door to take the FC for a spin I get the same excitement as the first day I drove it. I sold my first vert to get an fg2 civic, but soon bought another. The civic is much quicker, but it just isn't half as fun.
And im not sure if im the only one, but I get an insane amount of looks when driving the vert. People seem to think it looks more expensive than it really is.

FD's are awesome, but expensive, and I think they had more problems from the factory (Sequental twins, Heat that comes with them, Water pumps, wimpy oil cooler(s) if it had one, tranny is not as strong as FC Turbo II Tranny?, Cramped engine bay) They do have a potent chassis and REW engine though. 90's sports car styling
FC's are Kick *** because they're pretty cheap, and parts can be pretty easy to come by and they are lighter than FD's from the factory I think... came with a motor that has almost as much potential as the REW. 87-88 TII Low Comp rotors are the strongest. 80's sports car styling. TII's are just as rare as FD's or seem to be around here...
FB's are tiny, 12A is wimpy, most are in pretty bad shape or don't run(can be said about FC's and FD's) 70's sports car stlying
2nd GEN FTW!

I like my FC for what it is; had I started this project a couple years later than I did, I'd have an FD though. I have too much money invested in the FC platform to just switch now.
As far as objectively; the FC is a "nice" looking car stock. With some subtle mods, it's very nice looking. The FD, bone stock, is dramatically better looking than a stock FC, period. Now, a modded FC can get close, but drop and '99 spec an FD, and it's over for the FC.
Throw a bunch of body kits at either and they both look equally shitty however.

i love both equally....
the fc has old school 80's feel to it..
where the fd has a more modern look...
both look great when done right..
and both look just as shitty if not taken care of.

when i was in high school, a friend of mine had an fd and an fc, another friend of mine had an fd, i always said i would never get an rx7 because of all the headache, but if i ever did, it would be a 2nd gen as im more of an old school kinda guy... i play those days over and over in my head everytime my friend parks his fd next to my fc =D
i'd still like to have an fd one day

i like both...im good at working on fc cause thats what i started with...and i love the fc...i have owned 5 and i probably could have owned an fd but i just love the fc's so much that i passed one up...but i think my next project will be an fd

honestly.. stock for stock.. I like the look of the FC over the FD. I'm not a fan of the FD stock body. however.. I think a widebody FD done right is just downright sexy. but same with FC. but i just love the look of the FC. even just parked.. they look awesome.
