FC resto/cruiser build up

I just got back in the FC game with my resto/cruiser build up on a 1988 rx-7 gxl 2+2
im not going to crazy on this one , my goal is a nice sunday cruiser for tearing up all the mountian roads out here but still have a/c and all the goodies for comfort (im getting old...lol)

the car has 85k org miles and everything works (cruise/ac/aas/sunroof)
mods so far:
Corksport Rad./ Shroud combo
VINSPEED intake box (not installed yet) with cold air
6 port sleeves from rob
pre cat delete pipe
no name catback (pretty quiet)
springs
Short Shifter w/ real mazdaspeed CF ****.
re amemiya plug wires
some stereo stuff (3amps/kicker sub/EQ custom mounted/mids/highs)
bunch of new window trim/int. plastic stuff
Bride seats ergo II
17's speedy lite wheels
MINT S5 tails

mods coming soon
RB header (or SDJ if i can find one)
custom cat back (not to loud)
Rtek ecu upgrade
momo wheel
coilovers (stance maybe IDK)
Corksport intake tube (TB to AFM)

I'm hoping for around 180-200 hp all smog legal.
CARB legal street ported S5 motor with all the smog stuff on so i can Ref' it

some pics of how it sits now

I have a request. If you can, do a pull with the cone filter and one with the air box on. I'm kinda curious to see if there are any gains or not.

Nice car btw.

the car didnt come with a airbox, do you have a stock one lying around?

I would say that with a cone and the vinspeed drawing cold air (like nick1986's) would make a few ponies more than a stock set-up ,i picked up a few MPH in the 1/8th on my old n/a with a new intake.

Nice setup, I have that same shroud/ rad setup but I haven't installed it yet, I saw that you have a water temp. gauge, so did you notice a difference before and after the install?

Do you happen to know if those air boxes are still being produced? I was gonna make my own out of fiberglass, but that piece has always looked much nicer to me. (Nevermind, found a thread on TeamFC3S.)
