Yeah, and I almost bought your works becuase THEY FIT!!!!! ZOMGWTFBBQ IMAGINE THAT!!!! WHEELS THAT FIT INTO THE WELLS WHEN THE SUSPENSION COMPRESSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jus kiddin.. let this whole stupid debate die..

:rlaugh: Dude.... you continue to egg this whole debate on with retarded comments like, "that's how the mad tyte tuners do it in thier homeland dawg.... would you rank on rat rods for what they did to them in thier time, we're just imatators jumping the bandwagon and getting on board with the latest fads yet you mock us for copying what people do in thier homeland"

:Jerkit:

I'm all for letting it go, but don't tell me that wheels and tires fit when they contact suspension bits or 1/4 panels or fenders when the suspension moves mmmkay? That's my biggest gripe, you wanna do that, fine, the peope like me will quietly sit back and laugh at the ridiculousness, but stop telling newb's that 18x10-90q435792345 will fit with a fender roll, a stretch and running -37* camber in the rear, becuase they don't fit. Well known fact that when you go below -1.5* in the rear, forward traction is GREATLY reduced.

Zenki FC3S 07-04-10 06:34 PM

having an 18x9.5 -27 in front has been very beneficial to me. I modified my spindles to allow more steering angle. the low offset keeps the rim from hitting the lower control arm at full lock.

plus huge dish is my style.

Im a huge hot rod fan. my dad is stuck in the 50's. Alot of my inspiration for paint has been from the hot rod scene

Fuck trends, Be original

Fc3s87 nice looking car & the pics are great.

TitaniumTT 07-06-10 06:13 AM

It looks like there's a wee bit too much neg camber in the rear though.

Rotordad, what are the specs on your your setup? I bet that thing just grips. So much love and care went into your ride, did you do the body work yourself? Looks fantastic

As far as the suspension, pretty simple really. RB front end lowering, Tokico Illuminas, Eibachs on sleeves, Suspension Techniques sways, Energy Suspension bushings, RB rear camber adj. Front strut bar. The wheels are Altas by Simmons with Kuhmo Ecsta V700's (Fr- 17"x10.5" w/ 275/35-17's & Rr- 17"x12" w/ 335/35-17's). Yes I did all the bodywork, it took a little time. It pretty much has been the same for the past 10 yrs, but it works for me. One of these days I'll get off my ass & build a clean stock body FC. BTW your car has class man.

Fc3s87 07-06-10 10:11 AM

I'm not sure which fits worse, the tires on the wheels, the wheels on the car, or the exhaust on the car.

Anyone else wanna take a stab at what the worst fitting piece is? I'm leaning towards wheels to car, but the tires are about 3" to narrow, 3 inches, 75mm 7-8 sizes..... I dunno, tough one. Then again, the fenders are already so rolled they're bent out, and the wheels still don't fit................ so tuff

10aeRX7 07-10-10 11:13 AM

wheels look bad ass, car has a good stance, exhaust could be worked abit. overall sweet ride.
