everyone must like the rice tastic honda fitment of shit sunken into the fender wells with some boxy ass tires.

everyone who actually can drive their cars the way they were meant to be has the same mentality for fitment, so obviously titaniumTitties you should take note.

If someone calls me out I will respond so.................

Wanna meet me on a real track with a timer and see who can get around it faster? You can rock your 215/35/18 on a x12 -55 and I'll keep my 17x8/9+35 235/40 255/40/17 tires. Bring you notepad though, I'll bring my GoPro, I've wanted to mount in on the rear bumper for a while now.

No points will be given for noise, smoke, or scraping japtrashaero, purely time. Afterall, it's fitment and handeling right?

So how many lateral G's can you pull?

Front looks spot on, I personally would've changed the offset slightly and run something wider in the rear but it's a damn fine looking ride!:icon_tup:

Why does the rear look like it's been molested before though? Accident perhaps?

iani1.1 07-13-10 06:47 AM

i just love that green and the work equips are like the cherry on top. very nice ride

Drivers sids rear quarter panel along back side of wheel well has 3 small dents. Just haven't got around to fixing them yet. I do pdr but being doubled paneled back there is going to require so filling and paint unless i decide to go with wider fenders which will just cover it up.

What have you done to make the car go fast?

Not much at all. I've only had the car for a few months and my intentions at this point is not to build a weekend track car. Mechanically I'm leaning towards reliability at this time but thats not to say I won't do a t2 or 3-rotor swap in the future. Current upgrades were a recent street-port rebuild done locally at Atkins, Corksport header and race-pipe, Apexi cat-back, Hks intake. Its not fast but its by no means a slouch either. Suspension upgrades are Stance Gr+ coilovers, Cusco upper front and rear strut bars, racingbeat sway bars. Has a s4 clutch type lsd but I recently picked up another one to rebuild.

Are you really serious man, who said that you were the authority on proper stance? When you say everyone who drive thier cars the way they were meant to be, which means what? Each stlye of driving / racing is going to require a different approach to suspension needs. You need to respect others opinions as they will respect yours, remember to each thier own. I'm not going to say what is right or wrong, but I'm sure when Mazda designed the car they didn't have these settings in mind. BTW where are the pics of your car since you want to speak on others?

MaczPayne 07-13-10 12:46 PM

Take it out and have fun with it, that's all I have to say.

I love wide rubber and g-forces, some like the stretch and low. It's all good to me.

I agree whatever way you build your car is good to me if it's done right & not half assed.

Its sad that these losers continue to come into this thread to bash properly done fc's but just like in other forums they have there trolls. I'll stick to the classifieds and local here where its safe from the chaos. Cars are looking good guys keep them coming. The mods should really consider a Drift section for the forum.

Just to point up, this may be in your opinion proper. But tyres that scrape on guards and have to be stretched over the rims aren't proper so stop calling it that. If it was, and actually offered any advantage, every car manufacturer would sell new cars like that.

Fc's are in no way proper done when their bodykits are zip tied on and the wheels are sticking out the side of the car.

I'm all for people calling it their own style, but not proper.

Want to see correct stance?

Or how about this

But all of you keep posting your cars with stretched ass tires on crazy offset rims.

THIS! Not proper

ALSO THIS! Improper.

Starting to catch the drift?

Just for clarification on a different car. Well use the 240SX for example as its another victim of wheel fitment nazi's.

I'm all for stretched tires and wide rims as much as the next guy, but this is a proper stance thread. Not wheel fitment thread.

is a 18x10 -22 rim with a 225-235 tire a nice fitment? Possibly. Is it proper stance? No.

Keep your drift cars in the drift thread. They made it for a reason.

g14novak 07-14-10 04:40 AM

1. How many of those cars are running more than 2 degrees of neg camber.

2. How many of those cars are running stretched tires.

3. how many of those cars have the rims sticking out of the wheel well.

I wasn't referring to the height. I was talking about how the wheels were setup. Ride height does factor into stance though.

Those are all PROPER stance cars. The ones I posted as improper aren't.

Agreed.

Why the crap are you comparing proper race cars to these busted ass things in these threads. Also notice that none of these race cars have broken headlights that half stick up.

Looks good? Yeah.

Proper? Fuck no.

Learn proper fitment before you troll about it.

g14novak 07-14-10 05:18 AM

I posted them because their perfectly clear examples.

Are they built well for what they do? Yes. Is justins car proper stance? No. M-Sports is. Just because JTP's car is engineered and tweaked for his racing style doesn't make it proper.

You go ahead and describe to me whats wrong with the S13 so I can correct you on proper stance.

Think of it this way. Proper standing stance is with your back, hips, and ankles aligned, shoulders perpendicular to your neck, and your chin level to the ground. This gives you the ability to see and move the most freely and any direction. Are you going to go up to people standing like this and tell them their standing wrong while your slouching and looking at the ground?

*YOU* posted cars of proper stance and then mocked what I said about cars with improper stance.

How do you not realize your view of proper stance is completely wrong?

It's simple, fads and people who are all about the bandwagon just blindly accept their way as being completely right regardless fo how wrong it really is. They so desperately need to be different and get attention that they just don't care. Not to mention an avatar that says You say tomato, I say fuck you speaks volumes.....

You two guys, G14Novak and Slow Rotor couldn't have said it better, way better than I could've.

digitalsolo 07-14-10 09:52 AM

I love the amount of arguing over a made up club of people who can't find wheels that fit their cars. :)

Hypertek 07-14-10 10:55 AM

long as people dont put downgraded wheels on their car, like this 350z with 5dollar paperweights
http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x...e/100_5849.jpg
lacks taste and is bad judgment, should of kept the originals.

g14novak, i dont think anyone here would disagree with those "correct" fitment examples you posted, they all got baller ass wheels.
