A week ago I picked up a girl I've known since highschool (strictly platonic) in my T2 because we were going to grab a drink at a place a few minutes away. Usually she sees me in my super clean Infiniti Q45. She was asking me if the car was reliable, if it's a "death trap." Then we start the car up and she tells me it smells like the Fiero her ex boyfriend (from highschool) had.
I pull out of the parking lot and blast through first and second gear at WOT. That's a very violent thing on this car with the big turbo and the puck clutch. She said "does it always drive like this?! this is really scary." Then a couple minutes later we were pulling into the parking lot and she tells me she is getting sick from the fumes and the bumpy ride.
I think 98% of girls don't like fast cars--truly fast ones, like C6 Z06, R35 GTR, 911 Turbo type which is where my car is at after all the time and money in it. In my experience they are genuinely frightened of them.

Yeah... the only time my car pulls chicks is when the top is down. Cherry red 91 vert. Near flawless body and paint, all stock sadly 
It does pull mad girls...who I can talk to cause... I am however engaged. She likes retarded cars, she tells me to get a 350z, Z06, or a camaro, or a bmw 325 (new - not the old sexy ones). *Sigh, if only she knew a damn thing about cars. Also the fact that I'm opening up a 3rd invisible savings account to dump mods on this left and right, muhaha.
Who knows, maybe she'll like it more when I drop a stiffer suspension and a TII Turbo swap with full straight exhausts so she can get off just from the vibration of the car seat

Well my wife is definately not in that 98%. She has driven two of my friends 10 sec DSM's her fathers 11 sec Cuda, a modded Viper & Turbo M3 that belongs to another friend. She loves our cars & cars in general. We used to go on runs with my brother hauling exotic cars for private buyers & we sometimes could line them up for a short run before delivery. I can honestly say she has spent more time at the track than me.

Also blasting around through first and second at WOT in any fast car is going to scare any girl that doesn't like fast cars, you just don't drive like a tool with them in it.

last night i picked my gf up from her friends because she was pretty drunk. Well.. i have embedded in her a deep hatred for my car, lol. The kei o. coilovers are stupid bouncy and of coarse the fumes and loudness have completely caused her to stay away from any possible commute in my car.

i'm usually moving too fast to tell if there is any girls eyeing my car. my gf seems neutral but i think the more she rides in it the more she dislikes it, honestly i feel the same way about the HKS HyperD coilovers. they are just stupid for the street with the polurethane bushings, it hurts my back driving on surface streets. been a mechanic for almost 20 years so my joints hurt riding in a stiff car all the time so i try to avoid daily driving it like the plague, i prefer driving her completely stock 89 GXL most of the time.
but usually when asked what car it is i just make something up, like " 79 Aston Martin V12". as soon as 99% of the people who ask hear me say "Mazda" they lose all interest. the people who really would be interested already know what a rotary car is.

Mods: Stock exterior with a missing wing and ugly mirrors with holes in them. Working on whats under the hood. I drove it onto the ramp truck, off the ramp truck, and pulled one donut in it to turn it around. Now it's parked till perfect.
Girlfriend met me right after I bought my dream car. I showed her how it works, and now she wants to eventually buy either an rx7 or a REPU (her first choice, but rare). Smart girls are attracted to things that are different.

In a town of 54,000 or so, I can't go anywhere w/out getting attention and being asked questions. Most people don't know what it is. I usually get Porsche 944, Nissan 240, or Fiero inquiries.

I never have chicks in this car but since my last post in here I have had two. Both are just friends. One hated it, complaining mostly about the smell. The other one was is kind of into cars. She liked it a lot. I laid into it in 2nd and she told me it feels like a roller coaster. She also liked the sound of the BOV delete.
