Deecnt sized dent in the passenger front fender from previous "drift" owner. 3 inch dynomax exhaust stemming from RB header, no cats or silencers. Window tint. Hood vents and godspeed fmic added within last 2 weeks.

Does it pull chicks? Its hard to tell... ive been with the same chick for 6+ years now. We have female friends that are always asking for rides or commenting on how much they love being in the car, though im still trying to figure out if its the car or my driving

I have gotten looks from several women on the road, and in parking lots. Ill check back after the turbo install

Cars DO NOT pull chicks. Unless you drive an Aston Martin DBS, or unless they're 15 and its just cuz you can drive.

I did meet this chick who got super excited I drove an FC, lol. I never slept with her... even though I'd smoke her boyfriends built Sti in AutoX, haha. Most of the time girls get so bored when I even start to mention cars and usually bitch at me.

Again, not true. I've gotten lots of attention via my BMW, and it's nowhere near an Aston.

Happened to me. 8 months later we now live together and have 5 FCs between the 2 of us haha. First time I took her over the mountain she asked me to drive her FC to show her what it could do. She told tight pantz the next day my crazy driving was like having sex without touching. I knew she was the one at that point haha.

although my fc's suspension is a bit mushy and not quite stiff enough for that performance

funniest thing ever happened to me related to this though, some old lady tried to pick ME up when i was parked at a walgreens, she was taking pictures of my car and asking how old it was how much i payed and saying how gorgeous it was. made my night but she was toooo "aged" for my tastes.

Girlfriends claim they like my car, but I know better. It rides stiff as a rock, the clutch makes shifts uncomfortable, and the A/C is sub-par.
I don't think I've ever had a girl go out of her way to come up to me and tell me they liked my car and I've been driving it daily since the day I turned 16.
I do get looks from young guys pretty often and old guys from time to time telling me that they love my Porsche.

 

Ya know i was reading this thread thinking "Good lord i should really graduate from being in the juvenile RX-7 owners group to the grownups section and sell my 2nd gens for a 3rd gen"

Until i read this resoundingly relate-able post.

My GF of 11 years (might as well be married) puts up with my RX-7s and the money and time they consume only because they are a package deal with me....and only barely...

I own my RX-7s not to attract women, but to distract me from their BS...

It is a sort of therapy for me...
