It's actually almost bolt in. The only part you have to do really custom is trim your door panels a little. Other than that, every other part is straight bolt in. Wiring will be another issue, though. They also sell rubber gaskets that Toyota puts on OEM kits for any gaps between the dash and windshield.

This from the "how do I get sleepy" kid? Swapping dashes is a task above most people's ability, but it doesn't make the RX-8 a horrible car. You really do come off as a kiddie.

I figured a dash swap would be a huge job with lots of custom fabrication, but from what you guys are saying, it sounds like I overestimated it.
