Sounds like you care about what people thing of your car a little bit to much.......RCFC89

Please explain....

That fact that i won't put 145 dollar mb battles or rotas on my car means that I think too much of what people think of my car? Its not the style or look that turns me off of these wheels its the pure lack of quality and they look cheap. You can simply spend 100-150 more a wheel and get either some nice used jdm wheels or a new set of medium grade wheels like VarrsToen's/5 zigens etc. And for the record not at any time were my intentions to derail this thread and to the Op I apologize but when some fanboy hits me up with "Jump off japan's dick for 10 seconds" i'm going to lash back at this fool.

Because in just about every wheel thread I see you trying to justify spending the amount of money you do on JDM wheel set ups that can cost 1500+ on wheels alone when the only noticable gains are 3-5 pounds less on a wheel.Im more than sure that these wheels wont implode when you mount them on your car. Metals used on wheels arent fibreglass just because their not made in japam ITS METAL and its more than capable of holding your car, spending 500 on a wheel is stupid when one for 300 dollars less can do the same job...... and the money thats saved can go to performance parts that will do more than lose 20 pounds of total weight if that......

Waits for someone to give a **** about unsprung weight and argue that point when the thread is about cheap dish wheels.....

THEY ARE WHEELS.

And the stfu thing, rob....well i came really close to posting that and only that instead of my winded response.

I didn't buy a mint car, it looks like ****, and when i do drive it, i drive the **** out of it. I'll run it into the ground and wont think twice about it.... Soo until i win the lotto i could care less about a $3000 paint job and $3000 wheels. I could have a rattle can paint job, $800 wheels and have a VERY good time driving my car instead of worring "omg if i go off the road i can scratch my minty white paint or curb/bend my wheels or my mad tite $1000 jdm tite exhaust from japan i fap to"

Fanboy? No, i'm a hobbyist. You sound like the fanboy.

You contradict yourself more often than not, too. Just re-read your post. something about not minding how they look but they look cheap? Solid argument. Shitty quality? How do you know? Do you have any FACTS to back this up?

I will have too say I agree about the claims of quality, how do we know of these wheels quality? Is there someone that can attest for poor quality, so far I have only seen 1 person on here with them & no I'm not searching the 240sx or Mustang forums. As far as looking at them they don't appear to made shitty. Now I have made this comment before, but I'll say it again you don't always have to spend a fortune to get a good quality part. Sometimes spending big money when you could get the same result for less is just a matter of braggin rights. I actually don't have cheap wheels on my car, but no reason why I wouldn't get these except that I run 12" wide wheels. I think they would look great on my other 7. The unsprung weight thing well that's another matter completely. Hopefully that will not come up in a simple what do you think thread on some wheels.

I just want to see proof of companies like rota and sportmaxx whose wheels were broken in a situation of normal track condititions. Just because it isn't a high end company doesn't mean that wheels from low brand companies like rota sportmaxx and these replicas can't to the same job in some instances high end companies like work the wheel hit a curb and bent that's what 100+ to repair where the same instance heavya *** sportmaxx held pressure on the tire and was just left with a nasty curb rash low end wheels what they lose in weight they make up with durability

Lolz once you have owned several sets of wheels both high-end and low-end it very easy to notice the difference in fit and finish. Its like looking at the paint and metal quality of a bmw and then looking at a kia. Now when it comes to hitting a curb then the damage may be the same but what does that prove really? End of story is run whatever wheel you wan't but please don't try to make an argument on the quality of a rota compared to lets say a volk. I'm about to be running the Varrstoen te37 copies/knock offs until I find a set of weds I've been looking for used. But these wheels(Varrs) are kinda in between low-end and high-end. All I'm saying is if your paying 150-175 for a brand new wheel its going to be cheaply made. You get what you pay for in most cases. Spend the extra 100 a wheel and get something of decent quality. And Nopistons sorry to offend you and your wheels (MbBattles) but those wheels are garbage sorry. They are basically Discount Tires own brand and are so poorly made. I have a friend who works for DiscountTire and they get these things for under 50bucks a wheel. And I see 10x as many cars running battles then I do 5zigens, they are like the new Sportmax 962's everyone and their brother is running battles.

Whats the difference in quality give me the job that a 140 dollar wheel cant do that a 600 dollar can. Fit ????? What are we doing looking at aero pieces. No. Were looking at a metal cylinder that holds a car up, if the wheels are round and to the correct size measurements FIT is nothing of an issue. Finish????? if a scratch bothers you so much powder coat the wheels.Do you track your car at all? If you did you would understand why wheels so cheap and durable with some style go along way than saving up to only have a set of wheels that your constantly worried will get hammered. To me the only reason people like you buy JDM wheels is to make you dick feel bigger seriously.....
