My suggestion? Find a reputable shop that does race alignments.

I run the TEIN Flex setup, and for road racing/canyon runs. I usually run a very lose setup, my shocks are set at 8/36 up front and 12/36 in the rear. When I do AutoX tho, I set it at 12 fronts and 16 rear. I set my front camber at around .8 thru the mtns and 1.5 at AutoX events. And I have the rear camber eliminator which is unadjustable, so it sits at 2.2 right now, when I wasn't lowered as much it was at 1.8. I get fantastic results with that setup. Perfect amount of body roll to really haul *** around corners, yet stiff enough to easily control any sliding that might happen... Hope that helps

Great information thanks, sure glad to find people who are willing to discuss their set ups and what works for them because they actually drive their RX7 and not some kid that is going to say "go to a good alignment shop" Thanks again ....I have Kei Office coilovers Anyone here uses the same set up?

Hey, well I come from the Honda scene, and I wasn't one of those typical hardparkers at Starbucks that don't drive their cars. I use to drive a 00 Civic EX which handle surprisingly well at stock. Well I been driving touges for about a year already and it's always fun & exhilarating once you know the course and since So.Cal has a lot of mountain passes the options are endless. But I haven't recently since I'm pending my purchase of an FC sometime this week or next. Anyways I have lots of stories about touge racing, but I'm going to of course talk about one of the bad ones. In the time that I been touging none of my friends have ever gotten into accidents since we're responsible and know our limit, but around this time last year we went up Angeles Crest, Highway 2, and I didn't bring my car that day since I hadn't payed my registration so I rode with a friend, on the way up everything was going well, we weren't pushing it too much, we stop to do a photoshoot and everything was going dandy, on the way down it's much different my friends start trying since there wasn't any traffic, and literally half a mile before the run basically ends, the road is about 19-23miles depending on where you stop, one of the guys in a AE86 slams into a ditch when his brakes locked and skid into the ditch. We didn't even realize this till one of the guys in a 240sx called us to tell us our friend had crashed, we turn around, park on the side and cross the road to see our friend climbing out, bloody, but ok. The car ended up having some suspension damage and frame, but we were just glad he was ok. But we weren't able to stay with him because one of the ladies passing by called 911 to report the accident and everyone had illegal mods and we were probably going to get arrested or at least a ticket for illegal mods and or reckless driving so we had to book it out while we left our friend there. Thankfully nothing happen to him or anything, he just got his license restricted for a month and his AE86 is back running better than ever after a year.

@Buttonwillow this past weekend

On a side note, on the new canyon we race, some dude in an RX8 crashed into a guardrail,

I'm not surprised, its GMR.

A couple months ago someone in an srt-4 went head-on into another car and killed the passenger of the other car while "tougeing" on a "cruise" up near Crestline / San Bernardino.

I catch slow drivers in my Jeep all the time. I don't even have swaybars.

I stopped doing canyon runs when the good spots started getting hot. The very few that I do now, I keep to myself and drive maybe twice a year. Now it's more auto-x and road courses.

I call them mine b/c they are the gems that I don't share w/ anyone. But even our more common roads. I've never really run into anyone who was into "spirited" driving other than the occasional motorcyclist. And they have level heads on them. I usually talk roads and runs w/ those guys all day long.

I really enjoy our mountains. They are so chill and have TONS of good places to go wide open yet a plethora of places to enjoy a good drive & hike.

and my favorite picture I've ever shot of how to describe how I feel driving the mountains. Man... I can't wait to get my car driving again!

I'm not biased tho... I really want to check out Colorado's ****. Man, that would be sick. But maybe even California's mountains. Tho I love green. I can't stand sand and bland colors. I love Green and Fall's leaves when the mountain explodes w/ colors!
