Alrighty, Mine showed up today, Discount Tire ran out of the 24mm sets I guess so they shipped me a set of 35mm instead.... They fit great in the back with NO clearance issues I can see, but up front with tires on them I am worried they may rub the front springs, I am not 100% sure but that is my best guess... I am going to get some small spacers once I get tires on them to get a better idea of how much room is needed. I am not upset, i wish they would have let me know they were going to send me these, but for $150 it could have gone much worse.
Here are a few pictures, no centercaps, dry mounted. They look rediculously huge, but I bet when the car is on the ground with some rubber they will look better, plus black centers will visually bring the size down. |
try putting a jackstand under the lower control arm and lowering teh jack to compress the suspension a lil?

Ugggg.... Thinking that its going to rub up front unless I were to stretch the tire, which I dont think I am the type of person who would do that...
damn cheap price for some big wheels that are gonna look pretty damn good
Thanks for the compliment. I have a feeling a few other rx7s will be popping up on here with these on them....
Meh, not really feeling them. A little too blocky for my tastes. Can't beat the deal though.
Yeah... not my favorite style, but i am painting the centers Graphite so it should mask the bulk.. $150 shipped to my door.. cant complain too much.
I cant lie I thought about it for a few minutes heh.
bet the tires will cost 2.5x as much as the wheels |
Luckily I already have tires, pilot sports that came off my old cobra rims....
fugly!
a set of 5mm spacers up front would fix your rubbing issuses along with a very slight stretch
they look good bro gives it a retro look, you pulled it off now cant wait to see it with tires and standing
probably 225/40/18 up front, and 235 or 245 in the rear if you have room, will need fender roll of course.

i would jump soon, they have sold out of a lot of the different offsets, I will try to mount them up with tires asap.

Sucks that you couldn't get the +24 offsets. I guess the Mustang owners caught wind and snatched em up in a hurry! You could get away with a 10mm spacer since you have +35's
i measured yesterday and i am goint to try a 5/16 (roughly 8mm) and see how it goes.
More people sporting mustang wheels? I have more company now lol.
