Solid motor mounts. About the only thing I will buy off ebay

Definitely worth the $40 and 45 minutes it takes to put them in. Shifting is much more smoother, take offs are easier, and it is way more responsive to slide now Has a bit of vibration under 3500 but above that its smooth.

No.

Just a small bit of vibration. Regardless whether free-reving or in any gear, it vibrates the same up until 3500ish when it smooths out. Honestly it really doesn't take any drive-ability comfort away imo.

I rode in a honda with polyurethane motor mounts and it vibrated way more than the solid mounts in this.

Nope. NA or Turbo. Who ever told you Turbo only is being silly.

If you can find a Mazdatrix 4 point strut bar, it also is designed for a torque dampener. So you kill two birds with one stone.

Just bought a rebuilt S4 LSD. However it was just the internals that were shipped, so I get to research up on how to put it together...

^Thanks

I took the spoiler back off to sand it down better and repaint it up satin black. I still am a big fan of keeping my cars clean looking, but I really liked the idea of this and it turned out nice.

Yeah, blurry pic is blurry.... I'll get a better one in the daylight.

So, just sold my civic(my old daily), and took the cash from that and put towards getting some new body panels on this and painted.

So, it'll be getting....

*New drivers fender
*s5 front
*mazdaspeed lip
*corksport vented headlight cover
*s5 front fender trim

....all finished in sunrise red(which is damn expensive). So I'll go out and buy a buffer and materials and do the rest of the body.

Just got the pinion gear for the differential. After a bit of researching, I'll take the dif to a shop to be put together, as I do not have the budget to buy the specialty tools needed.

Got new rubber for the front! Kumho ecsta's, they look badass. Wanted something with more grip in the front for drifting.

So, my clutch is starting to slip, and in two weeks I'm moving to chicago, so I got to get this thing daily drivable and reliable! Anyone have a good used n/a clutch FS they can hook me up with??

Planning on hitting up at least a couple of drift events before the seasons up. Kind of hard to do, as this is my only running car so I can't afford to break anything, and I've officially entered the broke student budget.

better pic of the spoiler, have added more stickers since

The rear dif housing thats going to be used for the lsd. Took a long time to clean up, but it looks great. Camera didn't really capture it, but its super reflective purple/black.

mmm the smell of new rubber...

now just got to scrape the cash together to have a shop put the lsd together.

Well simple concept, yeah... I don't have the feeler gauge to adjust the backlash, and it will cost me less to take it somewhere and have it done over buying that tool new. Figure I've stuck this much effort/time into it, might as well have it assembled precisely rather than half *** it.

My clutch has started slipping bad when I clutch kick, so just sent out payment for a exeddy clutch.

Just picked up all my painted parts today, got the old fender/bumper off the car to find that it was hit in the drivers front. Spent some time straightening that out some.

Also have a Exeddy stage 1 cluch/pressure plate, its been sitting on my desk for a week lol just need some time to tear it apart and put it in. Been real busy trying to line up an apartment and **** in chicago, so progress on this has kind of been put on the back burner.

I must of missed it, is that a front bumper kit or just a lip kit?

Wisconsin.... Those pictures remind me that I must of passed through there with a few other 7's a few times on a tour we do once in a while... Fun roads.

Thanks for the pics, I was wondering what my vert would look like with a T2 hood and corksport vented headlight cover. If you have some showing the side and rear if you have any skirts or rear bumper it would be nice : )

Thanks for the positive comments.

Its a s5 bumper with the mazdaspeed lip. Yeah the roads around where I live have some pretty gnarly hills and curves...

Has Turbo II sideskirts too. Tomorrow(hopefully) I'll go on a photoshoot and get some better pics.

Nice.... I figured that lip looked familiar. You have the exact same exterior setup I wanted, the TII hood looks very nice, I didn't think it would look that good.
