RB Presilencer actuating 6 ports

RB Presilencer actuating 6 ports
1990 NA
I just purchased a used RB header and presilencer (with tube to actuate 6 ports / 6PI)
A blank off cover was provided for the ACV and from what I’ve read most people remove this and the air pump which operates the 6 ports for my year. According to my manual it also supplies pressure to the VDI.
1. Is this the preferred method, or should I leave my air pump actuation?
2. Anything else affected if I remove it?
3. Will I get a computer error if I remove all this stuff?
4. Will the 6PI open at the right time using pressure from the presilencer? Anyone check the actual opening RPM compared to the air pump?
5. No fittings were included to get from the presilencer to the 6PI or VDI. How do you guys connect to the presilencer tube flange---a barb fitting to vacuum hose maybe? I assume you run a vacuum line directly to the solenoid valves for both the VDI and 6PI, correct?
THANKS!

Response from Mazdatrix on the subject after I inquired about how much pressure the RB presilencer tube will supply. It looks like it will work, so I can lose my air pump and ACV! According to the manual, I need 1.4psi to fully open the 6PI and 2.8psi to open the VDI. I can always bleed off a little pressure if it opens too early.

Yes, the tube will work, but the 6-ports, and the VDI will probably open a
little early. The tube should produce about 4psi at 4000 rpm. (Approx.)
