How much work is it to put an FD LSD in an S4 NA?

You would need to get a Turbo2 rear end and half-shafts. Then the FD Torsen LSD is a direct replacement for the LSD found in the turbo2 rear end. You would also need to either get a custom driveshaft made to fit from the N/A tranny to the T2 rear end (length is different, as well as bolt pattern on the T2 pinion flange), or use a T2 tranny and driveshaft. (This would also require a T2 starter and flywheel)
After all this work, its probably not really worth it if you pick up a 86-88 T2 rear end. They use a clutch type LSD which is very good and responsive, as well as stroger (although can wear out). Im not saying that there arent any advantages to a torsen, but not many that i see worth all the effort.
If you just want a Torsen LSD, the one from a 94+ Miata is directly swapable into a N/A rear end.

Ah, gotcha. That is more work than I was thinking of, but the Miata torsen is a direct swap? That's awesome, thanks very much. =)
