I think I can narrow it down to one of three possibilities:
1. You need to have a competent mechanic work on the car because you don't even know which engine you have, or
2. You need to have a competent mechanic work on the car because you knowingly installed the wrong engine but do not have the skill to add the required supporting modifications or tune it properly, or
3. The engine is fine, but you are not reading the air-fuel ratio gauge correctly.
Professional auto mechanics exist because that particular skill is not a natural instinct for humans.
