So the story is this is rohan from Xtreme rotaries plate here in Australia and turbosmart have put there name on it howevet they deny him having any involvement in it!!!! Only time will tell. maybe this is why PAC's engine sounds so different to all the other 20b's out there!!!!

There are pics of the prototype plate Rohan did and it was a 2 piece design that was supposed to be joined together with a oring... What about the Aluminum plate on the 4rotor Rx3, who built that??

Given the high price of such a part, I don't think anyone would consider it a disposable by having to replace the housing every so often. Racing Beat hardens and then flame sprays their housing and claim greater wear resistance than the stock housings. I do not see why these couldn't/shouldn't be done the same way.
I'd hope you could get it without any side ports.
These are probably almost 20-25 lbs. lighter than the cast iron housing.

You are doing better than me then Japan2LA! I was talking to the guys there & they really had no idea! They "couldnt" tell me what, if any coating / hardening process was being used. They couldnt tell me a price. I basically got the impression they they had just knocked them up to display at jambo to see how much interest there was in them! They were trying to tell me they had them running in 3 cars for over a year & that the MX6 has been running if for that long also..... Sorry, but I just didnt believe it at all!

wow, that would be nice, one because once all the cast iron housings are worn out and gone, thats it, so somthing aftermarket to replace them would be nice so we can keep 20b's around, and two because the weight savings would be nice, 20b's are f'ing heavy. cant wait to get some more info on this

Could you find out if there are plans to make regular aluminum side plates? I would love to build a complete engine with them.

Rotors still spinning

There's no reason to believe this couldn't work quite well as long as it's designed well. However it'll be so cost prohibitive that 99.9% of the people "interested" in it who are drooling all over it will complain as they won't want to pay for it. Has it ever been any other way here?

True but in the future, I plan on purchasing a 4 rotor crank kit. If I'm willing to spend the money on something like that, then I'm willing to go the distance. Would love to make the engine as light and as bulletproof as possible.
Edit. I'm also awaiting for results on this item below. A 4 rotor that weighs the same as a two rotor with over 10k redline? Now sign me the f*ck up.
