Has everybody missed the point? It WAS a V8 when I brought it - I have now changed it back to rotary power.........

How about some pics of the build up ? Are you gonna run a dry sump ? I wanna video of that bigboy spooling :hehe:

I will dig some pix out at some stage & find somewhere to host them. I am just running the T66 at this stage, but over the winter here I will be rebuilding the engine with ceramics etc & putting the GT42RS on. It will be very similar in specs to the engine Rohan has done for this boat.

Anyone running a motec m8 on a 20b, do it allow timing split on a 20b

As of the Version 1.64 software released around August of 2002, 3-rotor split timing is supported in the M800 from -9 to +30 degrees. It even allows for individual trim, which lets you have a different timing split for each rotor if you like. The previous M800 software was not able to run split timing on a 3-rotor engine.

Your Motec dealer can fill you in on the details (that's why they get the big bucks).

I need the info on the M8 due to this was the ecu that I was purchasing from a friend
