a big horizontal band saw would work best to chop it off.

Turbo is a T76 Q-trim a/r 1.30, kinda big for the stock port, but it will be getting a side port engine thrown in here in the next couple months...

Rear Plate Part # is.. NF01-10-C50D and cost should be around $250 or so.
O-ring Kit Part # is.. NF01-10-S60 and cost for that is around $280 or so.

I use a portaband saw to chop it even. Tapped it, but when i was putting in the fittings I heared a pop. It cracked it again. I guess it was a bad casting or something. I have a second rear plate allready and my seal kit will be here in a day or two. After pulling the rear housing off, I was checking out the condition of the rotor housing/ side plates. They are in great shape which I was glad to see. I'm guessing the motor has Very few miles on it, or it was just well maintained.

So, I hope i'll have her running again by the weeked if everything goes well. Maybe I'll get more than 80 miles this time before somthing goes wrong.

Glad to hear you got it running! Too bad about the oil misfortune, though. I just found a few pix of my car on the Racing Beat website from SevenStock6 event I took the car to. Cool! A few more 3 rotor RX-7s on the road soon. A very elite club is forming....... :-)

Well I'll be apart of that club shortly. It's killing me that all I need to get started is a damn computer and flywheel. I'm just a little broke right now.

Edit: Derrick do you not have any video or audio clips of your actual car? I would love to see those flames in action

Actually I do. That pic was from a snapshot of the video that we caught the flames on tape with.

Can you post your vid for all to see?

Edit: Hey Iron, sorry but I'm not trying to hijack your thread. It's just that there aren't that many 20b videos & audio clips floating around here.

My website host has recently gone belly up. So I don't really have a place to post it right now. Plus I need to edit it and compress it still. Any one have free space to host my site with?

Good news!! I replaced the rear housing got her fired up again. I just need to fix a stupid little leak from the rear turbo oil return line. Now to get back dialing it in.

Your story would have a lot more credibility if you posted a video I know you're still tuning, so you're probably not getting on it yet, but don't let that stop you from posting a video. I'm very curious to hear what a 20b sounds like under daily driving conditions.

The car had been idling a bit before I took off. It tends to want to idle kind of rich. When it loads up like that it will back fire under heavy accelleration.

Now here is another little one that I put up. If you look real close after I pass by you can see the trail of flames coming out the tail pipe!
