714whp @ 18psi on e85 weee!

Aw come on guys, share the knowledge. I am a little more than curious as to what exactly Jesus has been doing to fix these 20B setups. I am going to be doing one myself one day and enlisting Jesus's help isn't exactly an option considering we are at opposite ends of the country!

Although I'm curious also, I'm guessing it's a couple of dozen little things (as well as the tune obviously - which is a huge part of both longevity and output.) Since I've had my build back under my control, I've made several corrections that likely would have resulted in a side of the road break down, or worse still, engine damage break down. Stupid things like positive wires exposed under floor mats - just waiting for a passengers foot and a little pressure before earthing them out, incorrect fuse choices on critical items (ignition and fan control), and idiotic things like oil return line from the turbo uninsulated and too close to the exhaust manifold and WG piping, and oil drain plug a inch and a half long at the bottom of the oil cooler - on a car that's already too low (see the pics on the thread for that one.)
Then you get someone with a keen eye, or another (better) rotary engineer, to go over the car and tell you all the things that are 'grey'. That has thus far cost me a few grand, but compared to the idea of a race spec 20B engine running out of oil or severely overheating, it's a tiny price to pay.

not yet John but As soon as i get the car back from getting these a/c lines fixed i will shoot a few.
Cause i have 2 fuel pumps and i'm sure i'm going to need a 3rd to go higher. 714whp on a 2900lb car is pretty nutty.

Nice.those 75mm's sure are good on the 20b's,we got one on a street car here, bridgeport, custom intake,98 pump and went 700 with 12.5 psi on the dynojet, works heaps better than the 80mm.drives like a dream too
