Tonight I wanted to get the fuel system completed, apart from a small piece of hose and a connector job complete.

Not much to see but I haven't posted any pics in a little while !!

How much would something like those lines cost? Let's say to replace your stock fuel lines or any lines to those?

holy fu**, this thing is a beast...

will you ever drive it on europe mainland? you have to tell me if you visit the nordschleife for example!

May I ask, what dashboard are u using and where to get it?
I want to keep my stock dashboard in my track build, but it just makes to much trouble your dashboard would be a nice alternative... or is it custom made?

Not cheap for sure fella, the dash 8 180 degree bends for example are £35 each and the dash 8 hose is about £20 per meter.

Woah... lots of questions !! lol

I'm not a fan of the Ring but we WILL be venturing to Spa in Belgium next year for sure and maybe a few other Euro tracks,
but I'll certainly post on here when and where Kermits gunna be running.

The dashboard is Atomic Rex's, I wouldn't have much of his stuff but some certainly have merit and this is a good piece
of kit, the FRP doors of his are very good too and you can lift them with one finger, great for me as I'm trying to get him
down to about the tonne mark.

Haha, sorry

Do you/your team has a FB page to follow? Spa would be great, my girlfriend is from the cologne area, would be great to visit her parents and Spa to see this beauty

Oh, didn't knew that he also offered a dash. I have a 2nd hand pedal box from atomicrex/obp, was a PITA to fit it into the car (especially with stock dash und stock clutter under the dash). After all the hacking I've done to it I will use it as a template and make my own box in the future...
Is he still in business? Seems that his website isn't working anymore :/

1000kg would be amazing 0.o

one more question (sorry for spamming up your thread ) Is the cage a kit from customcages.co.uk?

Yep custom cages is the kit in the car.... an FD is an ABSOLUTE PITA to put a cage in... just no room to maneuver at all.

Jon goes as Minataur Racing these days but still does some of the FD parts.

The dash is actually quite good.

We haven't got a team FB page but I've got my own page and I set up Torque Zone on FB which is our club cars in Reading, England
that I get together a few times a year,

Great, can you give some first hand impressions of the custom cages kit quality? Fitment, quality of cuts, any parts not included in the kit which are necessary?
did you dropped the cage for welding the tops or did you cut your roof?

Thanks for the info on the dash and the FB links, will add them for further stalking

The cages are pretty good, fitment and cuts, defo didn't lift the roof, cut the floor and slid it through.

The only bit I've got to sort out is the rear bar over the fuel cells as we had to cut it to get them in, think
I'm gunna put the bar back in there with a couple of sleeves bolted in, this will be fine as it's horizontal strength
will be retained as well as a rear strut bar going on.

Thanks buddy, that was my plan for the looks, I wanted to follow the original lines as it's the most beautiful
car in the world (In my opinion), and you have to have a double take to see how wide he is now although you have to
have a normal FD next to him to appreciate the difference.

Not too much to see whilst the wiring is being completed.

Many more updates will be coming next week.

The fuse board is nearly completed and will be fixed to the bulkhead shortly

That's awesome. I want to build a car in my living room.

I heard Nicholas Cage had an old Jag carried sideways through a window in his house and set in his living room just as a decoration.
