how come anytime i go looking for any videos of rx7s with 20b's I never find anything other than race cars. big horsepower supra's you find everywhere you turn. but no 20b's except for the 20b rx7 vs the viper on the bottle.Am i really to believe that nobody ever races these cars on the street or does everyone conveniently forget to bring the camera?

yea i got everything ready but i've been so busy with work and getting ready for Halloween that i haven't done much but i'm going to get some stuff done today since i took the day off

how do the 20b cars do as far as a highway killer or is that still more of the supra's arena?

 

Turned out it was a wiring short that messed up the fuel map in the Microtech - made the ECU think the car was hot and it took gas away from the map so it had a tough time starting.

That is now fixed but Jesus is working on a few other items - moving the PLX water temp sensor before the thermostat (about where you have your sensor), building a shroud for the radiator, and he's going to rewire the fuel pumps so one is on all the time and the other will come on under boost. This will save me 11 amps at idle and help with voltage.

Thinking of coming down to Kilo next Thursday.

Thanks man. Right now it's got a 5" down pipe to a 4" with a magnaflow at the exit.

 

that's the same set up i have but mine sounds different :/

i have the magnaflow resonator in the middle and a straight pipe all the way to the back.

they both sound sick i'm just wondering why they sound different

Mines straight pipe right to the can in the back, I took the resonator out.

 

It's funny how the guys on supraforums drool over our cars and the way they sound..

i know there was a vid here with a black 20bfd going against a 740hp supra and the rx7 changed gears every half a second cause his final drive was 4.7

 

i think you're talking about turbotommy's 20b fd smoking the supra. he has a ppg dog box and thats why he shifts gears so fast
