20B e-shaft number?

Hi guys, I was wondering if the number on the e-shaft that is stamped on both the long piece and the short piece should match the number on the block?

The block has a "C" series number stamped on all three housings and all 4 irons, but the e-shaft has the number "20" stamped on both pieces. Also, it looks like the motor is not original Mazda, it has been opened and polished a bit before. It seems to me that somebody put an early "bad" e-shaft in my engine?

TIA

I already got a couple of replies that the C and D engines have the same number on the e-shaft:-(
