zoom zoom boom

was going to work on friday and popped my motor. well my buddy was driving but it was nothing i wouldnt do so its no biggie.
he drove passed the turn to the new jobsite on accident and made a u turn at the next stopsign to head back. well you know how u turns can turn into 540's sometimes when youre out in the middle of nowhere with a ported rotary :-P i was watchin the tach, nothin over 7K, and its a streetport 12a with less than 100k on the clock that i rev to 8500 daily. finally get turned around headin to work and she had no power. i was hopin for fuel filter getting clogged in the spin, no such luck. no compression at all in rotor one, tried atf for a couple days with no improvement. no water or oil leak so i assume it just blew a seal.
i was planning on selling the car anyways so its no biggie. we all know that modded fb's dont go for what theyre worth anyways so im puttin her back to stock usin parts ive got layin around. its ok i know an old guy who just wants a stock 1st gen, and everythings been rebuilt so it'll be a good deal for him and it'll still handle awesome, just be dog slow again.
still have an 80 hardtop shell im going to fix up in a few months or so, but im going to take it easy for now. still have the 1st gens on the brain so dont worry hehe
just got the motor ready to pull today, everythings off and ready to clean for selling along with my tons of other parts ive got layin around. might as well sell some more while im at it i figure

also- thanks for the bump dirty, but coud you please keep the questions in the classifieds. the new power hungry admin might do something about it

how much for the 12A?

I'm a friend of Ben's (TheRX7TwinTurbo), and he said you could hook me up with an engine. If it's a blown rotor housing, I might be able to still use it. But as long as the front/inter/rear housings are still good, I'm interested

Hey Gamble,

Don't forget I have that 13B with the Holley Carb and headers with less than 8,000 miles on it. Still under factory warranty. I'll sell it to you cheap.
