Young guy needs help

Hey everyone name Nector and I just joined. I'm 16 and had my Rx-7 for about 7 months now in which time I've tuned and perfected the motor. I've been serching the net and I came across some nice carbon fiber consoles for the first gen. does anyone know where i can get those and if the have it for the 83's. also I've been lookin into getting some rims but i'm not quite sure what the specs are like the 8.5 in.x 10 bolt pattern stuff. I'm also looking into some new guages beacuse i always buy the cheap ones they sell at autozone and my engine temp guages always seem to get blown can anyone help me with these probs. Thanks.

Nector

First of all, work on your grammar and spelling a bit to make your posts clearer. Read the post back to yourself aloud and see if it still makes sense. Not a criticism of you, just some advice to get better results from the online community.

OK, let's look at things in order.

Pretty much anything other than hard parts like engines and suspensions is custom made for the first gens. So if you found a site that has a car with something you like, try to email the owner directly and see where he got them from - he may have made them himself.

Wheel selection for an early RX-7 is pretty sparse. Your wheel use a 4 bolt 110mm bolt circle wheel with some positive offset... like 25mm. Try the following URL:
http://members.ij.net/mrmazda/tirechrt.htm#WDIMS

Hunt around on that site you'll find a lot of stuff that should interest you.

You asked about gauges. Well, what do you want to do? What do you want to measure? If it is just normal stuff like water temp and oil pressure, both VDO and Autometer make nice quality gauges that are relatively inexpensive. I personally like the VDO Cockpit or Vision series gauges. Both brands can be bought from Summit Racing (look on Google) for not much more than the El-Cheapo ones at Autozone. If you are racing the car, you may want to make sure the gauges will stand up to it... Greddy and Apexi make nice tough gauges, but expect to pay $200 or more per gauge.

P.S. - welcome aboard. Plenty to learn here, but research anything before you try it... there's as much false or misleading info on the forum as there is good stuff.
