They tend to put the decal on the front swaybar on upside down. Don't let this lead you into installing it upside down... The ends need to be angled the correct way to line up with the end links.
Oh yeah, you're gonna love it!

yea i was just looking at the front one and i thought to myself this is gonna be fun. haha but i guess its a good trade off rusty one to a nice shiny red one.
my only concern now is the springs. ive never done a spring change before so this is gonna be my first.

how long did it take you to install the front sway bar?

I have a spring compressor here, it was maybe 15$.

Probably 1 1/2 hours to install it upside down. Maybe 45 minutes to remove it and correct it since all the bolts were broken free by then.
Remove both of the tension rod mounts (where the bar passes through) and it will go a lot easier. Leave them unmounted while you do the front springs and it will give more room for the control arm to drop down allowing the strut to be lowered.

spring compressor? i had a buddy of mine just put his weight on it vertically. i kno i kno not the propper way but it got the job done faster than a spring compressor. if u kno the ins and outs of ur car then at most 4 hours to do a whole suspension swap.

Unbolt both rear struts while the back of the car is up in the air. This will make it easier for the springs to come out and new ones to go in. If you do it one side at a time it will fight you. Shouldnt need to compress the rear springs when you install them.

The RB package is fantastic. I just installed it through the winter with tokico blues and sumitomo HTR 200's and it handles beautifully. I have yet to find it's limits on the street. Rides a little rough on the bumpier roads, but that's expected. Definitly a good choice. The rear bar is set full stiff and I've had no oversteer problems. Probably has more to do with the stickier tires but she just glides through the corners. Enjoy.

do yourself a favor and don't start ripping stuff apart until you buy new shocks/struts.. at the very least, and I'd recomend poly-bushings too. Otherwise those new stiff springs will completely blow out those worn-out old shocks, and you'll have a seriously bouncy ride. A suspension swap is a big job, not all that hard, but it is a lot of work, and you'll be glad to only do it once. I have the same set-up on my widebody RB springs, RB sways, Koni red dampers, and all poly bushings. I've also got a g-meter in my cd-player. It now reads a max lateral g of 1.01. So, to say the least this is a HUGE improvement. I also replaced all of my steering compnents tie-rod, pitman arm, and idler arm.... took all the slop out of the wheel, all the parts can be had for about $300 from rockauto.com. Have fun, take it slow, and if all else fails read the FSM.

I should be getting my suspension package tomorrow. So I already started ripping the front end apart. Then I got to the sway bar and thought "this is gonna suck". Thank god I came home to see what the easiest way to remove it was.

i think all you have to do is slide it in or out depending if you want more under or oversteer. theres a nut and bolt you have to loosen to slide it. make sure both sides are the same lengths.

UPDATE!
just swapped out the rear end sway bar and springs. i must say it wasnt that hard to do just took a lot of elbow grease to take some nuts out. runs super stiff in the back now much better then the stock setup.
thanks for the help guys!
tomorrow the front will be done...any pointers?
thanks

I did my susp. swap two years a go so most the steps escaped my mind but I remember needing to disconnect the tension rods to fit the front sway, and the rear swap is infinently easier then the front.
back to the adjustible rear sway, which way to adj. to get understeer and which way to oversteer? I think mine is all the way pushed in and I have a very nuetral handle, but I would have to say it understeers before oversteers.

Does anyones front end seem to sit a little higher with this suspension. The *** end of the car squated nicely but it just seems like the front is higher than before. It could be because I don't have the front airdam on but there just seems to be too much wheel gap.
I really can't wait for my bumper to be fixed so i can drive the car with the kit on.
