Wont Start!
Ok , i go out to my car as normal turn the key and nothing to sound ay all, i have a good charge on my battery. Also, the brake warning light turns on. i am wondering if it has something to do with the fusible link conversion i did, but i kept the origionals.
Any ideas?
Thanks so much and i am off to school.

Did you save the fusible links? If so, put them back in and see what happens.
If you're coming up this weekend, call me when you get out of class. My comp will probably be down all day. I will need enough time to go get connectors before 5p.

won't start___jammed starter?
A bump and a 2nd question.
Well we pulled positve battery cable and cleaned some corrosion, checked to make sure that the battery cable connected at starter was good and secure (it was) and still it would not turn over. Just made a fairly loud click noise down by starter and another up between the battery and headlight area.
So we backed car out of garage and popped the clutch and car started right up. I let it idle a few minutes then came the big test. I turned it off and then tried with the key. Vroom, started right up. Turned off again and started right up again.
My question is could the starter gears have gotten jammed or off just a bit to have the gears not mess correctly with flywheel thus jamming the starter?
Because once we got it started the starter worked fine. Is this an isolated occurance or is it the start of the starter going bad? We did not get the usual starter whine when it fails to engage, just the loud click.
Thanks for any info.
