Wiring?!?!? Grah!!

SOOO! I just went and poped the hood on the car. The wiring is almost completely gone from the bay, which is a bit of a problem eh!? anyone know if i can get the original 85 engine harness or if the 80 harness wil work?

lol. the harness isnt missing much but if you dont have any wiring, it would be a great start!

Did the wiring knomes steal your wirring in the middle of the night? Or did you buy the car and then trailer it home without popping the hood? I don't understand how this could sneak up on you.

Careful, there are three under the hood. The right side wiring harness which plugs into the engine wiring harness and last is the left side wiring harness.

Off the top of my head, I know that the ignition is different on an 80 and the 85.

I can get them but it will take a few weeks since Im busy with work and my garage. I picked up a complete set including electronics such as fuse box, relays, electronics and such for $80.

If you need it ASAP, a friend of mine ordered a complete set from a rotary wrecking yard located in Rancho Cordova CA. I cant remember the name but that place has a good feedback from many forum members. He spent appxo $250 for the complete wriing harness.

No i popped the hood, But alot of the wiring is still there So i will have to see which harness it is.
