Heres a rare Mariah GTO-1 wing from the old'en days of IMSA racing.
They had the mold in stock, but had not made one in many, many years. They werent even sure if any of their current employees had ever laid one out! When I bought my widebody fenders from them I convinced, (begged) Mariah to make me one.So they subbed it out to a fiberglass specialist to be sure it was done right.I paid a little more in the end,but it seemed fair that they make it for me since it was listed on their website for sale. Its not very practical for loading anything in the back, but it works well.I know this because I researched it, and this very wing was banned from use after only 2 years of racing in the 80's.I have seen a couple pics of 1st gen IMSA cars with the same wing, one of which is on Mariah's website.I recently added struts to the back to keep her on a level plane. The front was starting to lift up off the body from when the back section takes on downpressure at higher speeds.I have heard of knockoffs out there for less money, but I wouldnt recommend this wing for anyone that isnt widebody since its pretty "out there" in both width and height.I like it because it goes with the widebody look and it has some race heritage.
Its listed under 1st gen exterior "racing widebody". Its still there, although the price has gone up considerably.

Ive been posting the same old pics for years now.....gotta get some new ones!
Actually,Ive barely touched the car with a wrench in almost 3 years, since I finished the paint/body.Theres just really nothing left to be done, which is kinda a good feeling, but also strange since I'd been making big mods and upgrades to it non-stop since about 1999!

Surprisingly simple! Pull of the plastic, make 2 appropriately sized pieces, weld, grind and add filler to make smooth....
The pic should help it make sense.
May need to space it out a bit with the stock bumper, but it should still work. I may have trimmed my plate ever-so-slightly... like a 1/4 inch total.
