Windshield Washer and Radiator overflow tanks

Hey guys,

Just wanted to see what you guys are using as those tanks in an aftermarket way. Something in Aluminum or SS would be best. Trying to get the ones on my car changed, because one they're becoming discolored to a yellow color with stain marks and stuff, and 2 my washer bottle fell on my headers a couple of times now and has melted the tops. And I figured buying something like this would be basically the same price as getting another stock one. So let them flood with ideas.

PS ... if it has some sort of window to see how much the level is its a bonus ...

My windshield washer main tank was yelliwed and brittle, and starting to crack at the top so I replaced it. $40 from the dealership for a pristine OEM one. Stainless tanks like the aftermarket one for the DeLorean run about $120.

The cap is sold as a separate part, and cost about what you'd pay in postage to have someone send you a used one. The only downside is new caps are grey, not translucent white.

This is a hard call. I have not seen aftermarket ones in stainless or other type of metal. You would still have to figure out how to install the washer pump motor and seal it properly.

The radiator overflow is another story. I'm sure there are various bottles out there. Have you tried summit racings website or jegs?

This is one of ebays SS tanks for a radiator overflow 37$ plus shipping ... thats around the same price as new plastic one ... that is why

As for the washer bottle .. nothing that a couple of hoses can't take care of

Another ebay special of universal washer pump ... around 6$ shipped
