alright i i just got home from work 9pm gotta love comcast, anyways im not going to be able get a pic tonight but i i found this on another thread
now on the top where the window attachs with the 2 holes the distance between the 2 holes is shorter on the regulator then it is on the window its self.
is it possable to install a regulator in upside down?
this is the way that it came with the car, windonw was broken.
i hope that this helps with the details of the problem that i am having

That is the pivot point for the window to up and down correctly. See pic.

Agreed. The windows usually get slow from a combination of the switches being dirty, wiring being old, and the bearings and channels they run in getting gummed up.
First thing I go after is the bearings, their run channel and the regulators gears. I take the door panel off, and spray everything down with WD-40 and run the window up and down to clean everything out until it seems to move more smoothly, then I wipe off any excess, and spray it with something that is gonna last a bit longer and not just evaporate/run out like the WD-40. I used to go with white lithium grease because it seems to last prety well, but as Ive thought about it recently, It also tends to pick up dust/crap more than other lubes. I have been told silicone spray is the way to go, but I still use white lithum or a teflon based spray lube in there.
If that doesnt help the problem then you could look for the writeup on installing relays, and somewhat bypassing the old wiring system for the windows (a search would bring it up prety easy I think).
Lastly, if the glass run channels in the door suck, they are going to add resistance and slow the window down as well. Due to the design, this will also make the window want to grab one edge and bind somewhat on the way up and down. This is where the silicone lube is usefull. I do lube the run channels with the silicone spray, and it seams to work good. I like silicone based lubes in this type of situation because they tend not to pick up crud and gum up.
If the window seems loose in the channel you can enlarge the hole for the adjustment on the vertical run channels to make it seem more snug fitting, but I prefer to replace the channels inserts myself, I think they are only about 40 bucks at black dragon, and the replacements are prety nice. This doesnt seem like your problem though, unless the glass has derailed before haha.
Just wanted to throw that all out there, but you should be good with some lubin!
