Will FC shifter fit FB tranny?

I see short shifters are easily available for FC cars, and alot of people say the the shifters on the 84-85 FBs are the same... is this true?

Some 84-85s had a 13B, FC's have a 13B, and there are a few threads on this and Miata short shifters.

What about 12a GSL's? Will fc or miata shifters fit those?
