Wierd power window problem

i could not figure out for the life of me why my power windows would not work so tonight i decided to bust into it, i tested the motors, they worked fine, i had rebuilt the switches some time ago, so i got the test light out to test hte power lead going ot the switch harness (blue wire is power) it was getting a strong 12.3 something volts, so i was like WHY THE **** ARENT THE WORKING, i decided to try and hotwire the windows from the harness, and it wasent working, so i decided to see if the wire would spark when grounded, and what do you know, i didnt, i couldnt figure out how it was getting juice according to the voltometer but wasent sparking when grounded, i said **** that wire and ran a hot wire tapped into a wire controlled by the ignition to where that blue wire goes on the swtich, and BAM i got power windows that ****** work, im pretty stoked

i just replaced the switches and lubed up everything... amazes me how fast they go up and down now... before they would get stuck and pop fuses like it was their job (i probably went through 15 fuses before i fixed it)
