I've been looking at widebody kits for a while with a "form follows function" mantra. When I get the money to do a full restoration like Trochoid did, i'll need something a little bit wider to put down the power that i'm anticipating. I've already got my powertrain figured out, you'll just have to wait a few years so I can accumulate the parts and prep everything for the buildup to see what is going to happen under the hood.
Anyway, i'm definately going to need alot more rubber than the stock fenders will allow me to run, so i've been looking at widebody kits. I've settled on 3, two from Mariah and the iscracing.net kit. links are below. I'm looking at the GTU and GTO kits from Mariah.

My preference is the ISC front and the rear that I have on mine. That being said, find the right wheels for the kit you choose. It's easier to find a body kit than it is a decent choice of wheels, unless you do the SE/FC suspension swap.
For mine, I need 9" rims in the front to fill the fenders and 10" in the back. As she said, so far I have come up a little short with the 7" and 9" ones I have now. I would like my front end to be just a tad narrower than it is, and I think mine is the widest one out there.

I'm looking at a FC 5 lug front suspension and a Granny's 9" rear with 300m axles and a 4.10 LSD. Trans will most likely be a T-56, as the FD trans is only good for ~500whp .
As far as a set of wheels, i'm thinking that some CCW classics will look nice, with a black center and polished lip. The color will be Spirit-R Titanium Grey.
And you have the iscracing.net kit on your car?

It's going to be a while, I have to stop spending so much damn money on stupid **** . before I do the whole kit, i'm going to do a buildup much like Trochoid's. It'll be after I get out of school, which will be in ~2.5 years.

My personal preference is the Mariah Mode 1 widebody kit, but since that wasn't an option I voted for the ICS, which was closest.
If you're just wanting to slap some flippin huge tires on there and call it good, then go with the GTO, it has the most room.

My kit is the old one CP Racing was selling. It is the same one that's in the Black Dragon catalogue. Fwiw, the TII tranny is a better choice than a 3rd gen one.
If you are not doing the install yourself, after you get bids, call me. I could use a winter project. Besides the REPU, the Z, more work on the widebody and the extra GSL I'm sitting on. lol

You need to consider also that all the kits you listed are RACING body work, and might not be the optimum for heavy street-use. They are laid-up lite for racing, with performance 1st on the agenda, and then quality and looks...
Also the GTO kit is not a simple bolt-on affair... much work will be required to fab mounting-points and the such.
Just wanted to mention that.

Just remember to consider this when you buy one of these kits. Ask the vendor when you buy, that way you won't be dissapointed when you get it.

Im pretty much doing a similar setup, im shooting for around 400whp though. It gets expensive REALLY fast...
