Wide Wheels and Tires

I'd like to add flares and get some wider tires under my car, but I'm not finding much tire availability in 15" or 16" diameter. There's a 275/35-15 made in race version, but I'd like to have a real street tire for regular driving. What wheel/tire combinations are you running on your widebody or flared cars? Pics please, if you have them.

May I ask your bolt pattern? Sig says -SE but with a Toyota 8" rear so I'd think 4x114.3 but figured I'd ask.

I'd assume you'd be looking at a close to 0 offset rim with tires in excess of 250's as well as the 275's you mentioned. It's ridiculous looking for tires that are even somewhat decent under a 16" rim size any more, so many of the newer cars use a 17" or 18" rim almost on average, making the larger tires more in demand.

This is my car with flares and wider tires and wheels. They are not extremely wide though.

My bolt pattern is 4 X 114.3. I'm currently running 225/50-15 wheels on 15X7 +35mm offset wheels. I would guess a 10" wide wheel would require about zero offset (as posted earlier).

The bigger concern is the tires. Reasons I don't want to run 17" wheels:
- Heavier
- The OD will grow, which will end up raising my ride height (I think)
- My tire sidewalls will be shorter, meaning less resistance to pothole damage (I live near Detroit, which doesn't have the smoothest roads)

But if there aren't any other options, I may be forced into a larger diameter wheel.

Car and drive did a road test of the RB GTU car, and they were running 16x10 and 16x12 wheels with something like 305/335 tires on it.

the two other data points are that i'm able to fit 245 15's under the stock fenders (i think), and the widebody i did have could run a 285 in the front and it was still like a hot dog in a hallway
