why is it so Squeaky

quick question
does anyone know why my car squeaks so much when i put it in reverse and let the clutch go a little? it also happens when i clutch brake a lil. ive never heard it before so i wanted to get so advise before i put the car on stands and start messing with it
any help would be greatly Appreciated

My car had the same problem years back when i got it. It would squeal bad for a bit in each gear when down shifting......engine braking...etc...etc even at idle it sounded like the throw out bearing was rattling around. When i would press the clutch pedal it would go away. So i figured throw out bearing, changed the clutch and nothing. later on i decided to drain the gear oil and to my surprise huge chunks of metal.Didn't bother tearing it apart just swapped in a tranny from a 85GSL I know this probably doesn't help much but just sharing my experience. So be prepared. Good thing you can pick up a tranny for about $100 -$200 Good Luck man

^^^^did the car shift fine? because mine does perfectly no grinding either?

^^^^that could be it i have another drive shaft at home i check . but y only in low rpm wouldnt it have the noise all the time?

They can be weird sometimes. Squeak at low rpms, vibrate at high rpms, or anything in between. Put the car in 1st (engine off) and rock it back and forth by hand while you listen for sqeaks or clunking...
