i took a look at my car today and identified (finally!) the oil pressure sender and the temp sensor. but! i can't seem to find the cables that go to them. does anyone with a GSL-SE want to snap a quick pic of that region of their engine? at a loss. :|

They are usually wrapped with the tranny harness. The temp is a thin round female plug, the oil is the only connector in the entire harness that slides onto the connector.

Capt., I have to apologize for bad info. The connectors for the oil and temp senders are in the the harness that plugs into the solenoids on the rats nest. They should be at the firewall side of the rack and drop down under the oil filter.

How about a link to your thread, then? That might be useful . . .

i've been here long enough to know that. but sometimes you just can't massage your search string to find what results you're looking for. plus the "blah blah 20 seconds between searches" kind of gets frustrating.

but hey. i found the temp gauge wire. turns out it got mangled between the engine and bellhousing. OOPS! anyone got a parts car with that connector they'd want to cut for me?
