Question Where to put a (2 5/8) mech. oil psi gauge?

Ok, i bought a 2 5/8 Autometer oil psi gauge, and now im stuck. Everywhere I was thinking of putting it is just a bit too small to fit it!!!!
Is it true that a CRX A-pillar pod will fit a first gen, is there a first gen A-pillar pod available in that size, or should i strap it to the dash or put it in the glove box door?!?!?

Thanks for any suggestions.

The only A-Pillar mounts for first-gens that I know of are at:

http://www.egauges.com/vdo_acce.asp?Subgroup=Mazda_RX-7

However the size is 2"1/16.

The easiest way to install the send is to order an adaptor from Mazdatrix or Racing Beat. The adaptor is a peice of alluminum machined to fit between the oil filter and the rear housing. It allows for the install of both oil pressure and temp. gauges.

With the Racing Beat adaptor is it possible to use it with only one gauge, until I save up enough to get both oil and pressure gauges? Or will it leak without both gauges hooked up? Thanks. -George

Duck tape it to the sun visor!! That way you can see it if you flip down the sun visor and then if its in your way you can just flip it up again!!

On a serious note...does the car still have the stock stereo in it? If not, is the space left over too small to cut a hole and mount it there?

PaulAber, is that one of those Cyberdyne digital gauges on that A-Pillar pod? I just wrote a thread about changing over my entire dash to those bad boys...I think they are awesome...how do you like yours (if that is one)??
