Where to have steering gear rebuilt
My car had wonder steer. Adjusted all 3 per instructions and it wasn't any better.
Got a box from a friend with a parts car, same deal. 45º almost of turning the wheel side to side before the wheels move. I adjusted the small screw and jam nut, and drove 5 miles it was alot better. Parked at a store, came back out, drove, was bad again.
Where can I take me original now and have it rebuilt?!
7s are no fun when the steering sucks....

My understanding is st. box is essentially a sealed unit - neither parts (other than maybe gaskets) nor the whole unit are available any more....
Threads made here about st box tightening - might be worth finding and confirming you have done it correctly. One thing for sure: you do NOT want to OVER tighten these!

Okay so no adjusty of the little screw. Adjust the large nut only from what I've been reading more on the site.
I used that link from maz speed to adjust all 3 on car and I just ended up with more effort.
I'll try the 1/8" turn of the large 4 hole screw/nut combo like Kentetsu says.

1/8...you can do more than that. I used a big pipe wrench to loosen that bastard jamb nut off and the the threaded part (with the holes in it) turned down like butter. It seems like it's tough to turn, but with the smaller nut and slotted screw tightened just use a 14mm to the the base from there and you're good to go. Once you're good, the jamb nut must be real tight or it will back off.
