Where else can I find these?

I need some good all around performance tires in 205/60 or 70/13. Tirerack lists Sumitomo 205/60/HR13 but they are on back order till 8/15/07 and I can't wait that long. Does anybody know where else I can find these tires for that price?

Wheels: 13x6 3-3/4" backspace

The 215/50/13s are available now. I just put some on, using stock + wheels mounted to a '85 GS. No clearance issues and they look/feel pretty good. I paid 238 mounted/balanced at Belle Tire, but I believe they are only local. Anybody should be able to get them for you though...

So let me get this straight, the lower the offset the further away from the strut the tire/wheel will be?

Stock offset is 4.5 and the wheels I have (on the way) are 3.75. Does this mean that a 215 width would clear with the new offset of 3.75?

Sorry I'm so slow

Are the 215/50's on the stock rims?

Sorry, don't know what stock+ means

So 215/50 will fit? That sounds like a lot of tire for these rims

Yep, they fit fine. I checked the clearance with the 205s and it was very tight, so I was concerned that the 215s wouldn't fit. But after they were on I still had plenty of clearance. The tightest point is between the tire and the front lower spring perch on the strut. Maybe 1/16th of an inch clearance now, but plenty in the back. No signs of rubbing, even during Solo I and Solo II events... And yes, those are the stock wheels I am using just like in the pictures above.

Ignore the strange colors, had an issue downloading the pictures. But you can more or less make out the tires, and how they look on the car. My speedo reads about 80 when going 75 now, but I can live with that since it lowers my gear ratio slightly for racing...
